One of the advantages of a Service Oriented Architecture is reusability. Because services have well defined interfaces and stronger decoupling mechanisms than prior architectures, they can be integrated together on an ad-hoc basis. Reusability of software leads to decreased costs, maintenance and higher quality levels.
