Business Dialect
Sponsored by

A Business Dialect is a language that is created by organizations that have a need to communicate. Typically, the dialect is industry based (health, manufacturing, etc.) or it is function based (HR, sales, etc.) A business dialect leverages an underlying technical infrastructure like web services to enable the exchange of messages.

OTA and ACORD are examples of industry-based dialects (travel and insurance respectively).
